It is used to emphasize that an action was completed before another action took place. He/she/it had weared or worn. He wondered if he had eaten there before.

Here’s An Example Of Evaluation From The Orientation Part Of My Story:


I had thought that i had heard him before, but i was wrong. You will have been hearing. The subjunctive past perfect is used to speak about hypothetical situations, and actions/events that occurred before other actions/events in the past.

⚡ Conjugation Of The English Irregular Verb, Past Tense :


The past perfect tense is used to describe a completed activity in the past. If the time is not specified, it can be possible to use either tense. The movie (start already) when we arrived to the cinema.

I Saw That Movie Last Week.


It uses present or past tense in an expected way. The past perfect simple tense is formed by using the auxiliary verb had together with the v3 (past participle). If we specify the time, we do not use the present perfect tense.

He/She/It Will Have Been Hearing.


You/we/they had weared or worn. She had told me that she had eaten. The past perfect tense is normally used in reported speech after verbs such as said, told, asked, thought, wondered, etc.
